Monday, monday, mayday!

So a new week has started... And we are bombed with fur coats! =)
They just arrived, so we are not able to get them out to shops until tomorrow...
To understand the progress of a garment I can tell you the story about the fur coat Angie...
One year ago I visited the fabric fair and found the material, and I just loved it but didn't have a clue what to do with it!
I had a piece of material in my pocket for several weeks, when I visited my friend in Gothenburg who had a vintage shop and he showed me a fur coat from the late 50'ies that were in ocelot fur in a swagger style. BANG! I had my idea for the fabric...Yes I got my pink fur coat! I took the inspiration from that coat and made my own style.

But I didn't have a factory that could make it... and lucky me! Two days later I got an email from a factory that were producing jackets and outerwear! So, I made the pattern and sent the material, lining and buttons to the factory and they made a sample!
I was so nervous before I got the sample... but the result were excellent!
So in January at Formex fair we had the launch for the style! and we sold it!
Everyone that tried it on fell in love with it... :-)

And now it's time for my baby to walk on her own feet's and see how the public will like her!
Enjoy... ANGIE!
In a couple of weeks her sister will arrive.. Angie for girls!
